It was a great day in China today! 2 new families were formed. Meg, Hannah, and I had the pleasure of eating dinner with the new families. Everyone was all smiles! The children are from the same orphanage as Hannah and Meg. Hannah has been telling Meg about her "sister" all week but Meg didn't understand what she was talking about. Turns out her "sister" is one of the children who found their forever family today. Both girls recognized each other immediately. Hannah has talked about her "sister" all night since getting back to our room after dinner. She said they slept in the same room. Just to be clear...You all know they are not bio sisters, but orphanage sisters and will always have that bond.

SLEEPY GIRL
While Meg and I were packing, and we packed almost everything, Hannah was sitting in the livingroom watching a DVD on the laptop. I came out to check on her, and this is what I found. SO SWEET. It's now almost 6:30 and she's still asleep, in bed of course. A 3+ hour nap, she should be up ALL night tonight!
Shopping :)
Shopping again.
The new families needed a few things so we decided we could also use some extras. We went to the local "Wal-Mart". Anyhow, Boys, I found a 2nd BAKUGAN for you both, with CHINESE writing on them :)
Hannah LOVES Susan's mom Grace. She always wants to walk with her so I took a few pics so she will remember her when she gets older. We bought a carry-on since we didn't bring one with us and we need to bring Hannah's Chest X-ray to immigration with us. It won't fit in a backpack. I also bought a beautiful Tea Set that I need to carry on.
The families are receiving their children now and Meg and Hannah are here in the room eating noodles.
Meg and I decided to pack for home this afternoon...Ya think we're pushin' it?
We laid out 3 outfits each and clothes for the Hong Kong to Ft. Lauderdale flights and are anxious to see if we can fit everything we bought in the 4 suitcases we brought.
Hannah is going to fit so well into our family. She's a shopper for sure. See the truck? She wanted it, I said it won't fit in the suitcase. She said "But I will have fun with it". If it doesn't fit, we'll leave it behind. But it's here in the room :)
Remind me to NEVER take Paisley and Hannah to TARGET!

WE ARE A GREAT GROUP!!!
The 3rd family flew in this morning and we met at dinner. What a great group we are if I do say so myself. If you're following along, the F family will now be known as Susan's Family ( NOT to be confused with SUSAN, our guide) and we now have Jan's family. We all had dinner tonight at a Malaysian Restaurant. No comment, I'm a chicken, potato and bread kinda gal. But if I stayed another 3 weeks, I'd come home thin :) We had fun, we all get along great and tomorrow the families will get their children. They're all so excited and nervous. They were practicing Mandarin phrases at dinner. They're so much better than me, I know 3 phrases and that's it. Of course I brought my own translator with me :) I'm glad my Gotcha Day is a week behind me.
My girls are in their jammies and fooling around. Hannah is like one of the kids now, running around and giggling and teasing Meg. Meg's busy making PIG sounds for Hannah. Oh Ya, we're a classy family :) Last night Hannah was telling Meg her bum has a lot of farts. We told her no, we don't say farts ( in chinese maybe it sounds better, I don't know) we told her we say, "your bum burps". That's Paisley's term.
Time to skype daddy, I hear him calling.
Breakfast with the gang at 9 AM. More pics tomorrow.
Thanks for all the emails and comments, I LOVE them!!
Also, spellcheck is NOT working so you will have to excuse all the typos nd misspellings, I'm trying to type this before the internet goes down..It's always going down :(
Here's our travel group at dinner tonight.
PS: did you notice Hannah's pearls are still on? Every picture..I already got my $3 worth :)
and I did buy her an extra set for when they break.

Sunday Afternoon...and I still have BLOGGER connections!
We had lunch with the F family on the 4th floor of the hotel. We all had spagetti/pasta. What a nice change!
Then the girls and I went walking. We found a store that sold CD/DVDs and came out with Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber and several Disney DVDs in Mandarin.
Then we went into the bakery and brought a few goodies home. The girls had fun tasting them. Now they all sit in the fridge waiting for tonight.

Sunday Morning
After breakfast we took a walk around the grounds of the hotel with the F family. Very peaceful and beautiful.
Sunday Morning Breakfast
Meg said she is sick of noodles and greens and ready to go home and EAT. I NEVER thought I would hear her say she was sick of noodles!
GOOD MORNING, IT'S SUNDAY IN CHINA!
Good morning Friends and Family. Thank you for following our China Journey. We are on our last week here in China and it's going all to fast. We have 3 more full days then it's good-bye. I've learned it's cheaper to buy new PJs than to have them laundered, so Hannah and I have new ones. See Hannah's new PJs? All the kids here in China wear them. $3. Can't beat that! Susan took me shopping where the residents shop. WOW, it's a madhouse, but the prices are great. Meg went crazy at a jewelry store, she picked out hair things and ankle bracelets for her sisters. $1.50 each. We used the SUBWAY. Thatw as our first ever subway ride. All I can say is, good ting Susan was with us or we would still be riding around!
Today we had breakfast and lunch with the F family. They get their son tomorrow afternoon. Theya re so nice. Meg and their daughter are having a great time together.
So, here are our morning pictures. All the clothes on the bed are for Hannah to choose what to wear today...I had extra time this morning :) She chose shorts.
